Weapons that come with built-in ethics

Tuesday this week (13th September 2011) sees the launch of an exciting new opportunity to bring together young families with the international arms trade.

The LifeNeutral™ concept is like carbon offsetting. Instead of planting trees to balance out carbon emissions, life is sponsored, to balance out the effects of conflict.

Defence companies are often beset with reputational difficulties. Young families can often find the cost of raising children hard to bear. The LifeNeutral™ concept aims to help all involved.

Life Neutral Solutions, launching at the DSEi defence fair, taking place at the ExCel Centre in London’s Docklands, will provide sponsorship to local families, funded by defence companies who want to ‘offset’ the lives unavoidably lost through the deployment of their military products.

Visiting Islington in London, the Life Neutral team took to the streets to inform the public of our scheme and register interest from potential future Life Neutral™ Parents.

Our PR team spoke to hundreds of interested parents looking to offset the cost of childcare, healthcare and education for their children. Explaining that by registering with our scheme, we could, once fund release had been secured, enroll their children in a series of bursary schemes and partnerships to give them the foot up in life that is out of reach for most parents.
